Veneers & laminates

What happens

  1. Smile planning: shape, length and shade are discussed with you
  2. A thin layer of enamel is prepared, if needed
  3. A digital scan or impression is sent to the lab
  4. The veneers are bonded and polished

Good to know: laminates usually need a thin layer of enamel removed, which can't be undone. The doctor will explain this before you decide.

In-clinic whitening lightens the natural colour of your teeth in a single visit.

  • Works best on yellowish or age-related stains
  • It doesn't change the colour of crowns, fillings or veneers
  • Teeth may feel sensitive for a day or two
  • Avoid tea, coffee, cola and tobacco for 48 hours afterwards
  • How long it lasts depends on your diet and habits

Tooth-coloured bonding

Tooth-coloured filling material is shaped directly on the tooth to repair small chips or close small gaps.

  • Can stain or chip over the years and may need touch-ups
